Tested my water this morning and got .84 PO4 on a Hanna checker. This is a tank that has nothing in it but rock water and sand. I expected it to be higher than that but I guess I got lucky. Most of the rock has been used before but has sat dry for several years. My question is do I just use GFO or do I hit it with Lanthanum chloride. There's no livestock in the tank so I'm leaning towards LC. Where do people get these 10 micron filter socks? If I drop it into my skimmer do I still have to use the 10 micron filter socks?

Either way is fine. :)
