I'm building out my nem tank; a 29 gallon. I should say nem tank loosely though as I will also have a number of coral in there. But this question is for the nems. What substrate is best?

Goal would be tube nems and rfas at ground level. Maybe a Haitian tucked in there as they are all (I assume) tolerant of lower light spots.

And a preemptive thank you for the responses and thread based giveaway entry.

Personally I would not mix those types of Anemones in a 29 gallon tank. The Condylactis can get up and move where ever it likes, it packs a powerful sting. The Tube Anemone is in fact not an actual anemones, and needs a lot of room. Tube anemones also have a potent sting. Any corals within reach of the tentacles will be stung.
Look at Maxi-mini Anemones or the Rock Flower Anemone.
Any regular aragonite substrate will do.

:)

Thanks. I hadn't done any looking into condys, but am changing my mind there. In reading further, it seems they have a penchant for dying. Or is it more that they are less often given what they need to thrive?

Already have a Sherman rose. Rfas are definitely in. I had a mini maxi on the other coast (recent move); forgot they exist when I was typing this. I liked it.
