I have a 3 year old Biocube32. Recently added a Mandarin that I will attempt to train to eat frozen in do time.
I know that are lots of pods in the tank and I have added a jar of Algae Barn 5280 pods in preparation. I see people talking about pods in their refugium, will my giant wall of GSP act as a safe place for my pods to breed? Thinking about using a turkey baster to "inject" the next round of pods into the mass of the GSP. Does this sound viable or should i just dump them in?
Thanks for the feedback.

Possibly but I wouldn’t rely on it to keep a self sustaining population

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
