Close, it’s an Amphipod (which is still a pod and a beneficial detritivore/scavenger), not a Copepod. Awesome footage though! I have seen Amphipod tunnels, but I have never actually witnessed them dig. Thanks for sharing!

Nothing eats detritus. Marine snow can be suspended in the water column for filter feeders and gorgangians but nothing really eats detritus. Ur best off sucking it up in a turkey baster and blasting it in a bucket or similar.

2-2.5mm maybe. Ive got a blend of reef special and pink figi, if thats a better reference

I have the same sand. He still looks like Godzilla to me. Haha. That was a great video. Did you get a pic or video of the wall?
