@Tigweldpro was wondering if reefers have other pets, so let's find out. We see many pictures posted of a cat or dog sitting staring at a tank. So what other pets do you keep?

I have my cat in addition to my reef tank right now but I really want a bird too. Right now I am looking at Eclectus parrots because from what I've read they are supposed to be better than other parrots if someone in your life has bird allergies. My girlfriend's mom is allergic to the dust birds produce and Eclectus parrots are supposed to not produce any and instead have oily feathers. I'll admit I'm not super excited about the startup costs of these birds but I still want something that I can talk to and carry around on my shoulder since my cat doesn't like either of those activities

Are they sold with complimentary eye patch and peg leg?

Nah but there's a 100% chance it would ride around with me on my boat sometimes :D

Currently only a dog, cat, and children (do they count?) but previously raised quail, bred ball pythons, beadered dragons, leopard geckos, chameleons, and had an 11' albino Burmese. That was all 10+ years ago. My wife says no snakes now. :(

Do children count? I have two little rascals at home. One's 5 and the other turned 1 year yesterday :)
Lol I was thinking the same thing. Our two year old I swear she acts like a puppy sometimes when she like to tear everything up with her teeth

My husband use to breed ball pythons before we met. I wish he still did, I love snakes!
