@Tigweldpro was wondering if reefers have other pets, so let's find out. We see many pictures posted of a cat or dog sitting staring at a tank. So what other pets do you keep?

Cats and backyard hens. Cats guard the chickens and the chickens give us breakfast.

I have 3 lazy doggos and a rogue gecko that we're pretty sure hitchhiked back to ky with us in our luggage from Florida.

I have my cat in addition to my reef tank right now but I really want a bird too. Right now I am looking at Eclectus parrots because from what I've read they are supposed to be better than other parrots if someone in your life has bird allergies. My girlfriend's mom is allergic to the dust birds produce and Eclectus parrots are supposed to not produce any and instead have oily feathers. I'll admit I'm not super excited about the startup costs of these birds but I still want something that I can talk to and carry around on my shoulder since my cat doesn't like either of those activities

Currently only a dog, cat, and children (do they count?) but previously raised quail, bred ball pythons, beadered dragons, leopard geckos, chameleons, and had an 11' albino Burmese. That was all 10+ years ago. My wife says no snakes now. :(

Lol I was thinking the same thing. Our two year old I swear she acts like a puppy sometimes when she like to tear everything up with her teeth

Two kittens and a dog that amazingly not only puts up with them but plays too.

This is from the spring of this year.[IMG]

My husband use to breed ball pythons before we met. I wish he still did, I love snakes!

3602C2F3-E3C8-4CEC-AFBF-BB727D991BBF.jpeg We have cats, dogs, leopard gecko and fish. Oh ya we have a rose hair tarantula. As an Orkin man this is a little ironic don’t you think.
