I currently have a CBB, but I have only had him just over 2 months, so way too early to call it a success. That being said, he is eating great and gaining weight, so I'm optimistic.

I believe @ca1ore has pyramid Butterflyfish. Definitely one of my favorite. Also if you want something other than the long nose or CBB ones check out the tinkeri complex of butterfly’s. Very beautiful and considered reef safe with caution, only drawback is price.

I bought this guy. Had a Kole Tang on hold but it died so my daughter really likes this fish ...

He did peck at my Acan and Digi but I did not see any flesh missing on the Acan or polyps missing in the Digi. He has not touched the Duncan, Octospawn or Milli.

He picks at the rocks and gravel so far.

Fingers crossed.

If I come home to damage I will move him to another tank.

Have a CBB. I have had it for about six months, and it didn't eat anything for about 2 months. I was worried but he was relatively healthy. One day noticed that it picked on pods at night.

Now, it eats Mysis and some homemade fish food, which is basically a blend of various seafood. The CBB also ate black worms but those can be hard to get lately. Now, it is fat for a CBB, especially compared to when I got it.

When I first started, I also had a long-nose butterfly. That thing ate everything.

I LOVE butterflies. My most successful trial was when I had a permanent QT, and I treated everything with Choloroquine Phospate before going into the tank. Lots of fish did not make it out of QT, but many did. I kept only soft corals that grew fast, and none of the butterflies touched them. Here I have a pearlscale, a yellow head, a pyramid, and a Pakistani. I also had a Regal angel and a Rock Beauty. It was a great tank, but then I had to move for work and the fish got sold. I went in a different direction here. I'll attach some of my old photos IMG_20170721_133926237.jpg IMG_20170721_133926237.jpg IMG_20170721_133746020.jpg IMG_20170721_133803657.jpg IMG_20170721_133920392.jpg IMG_20170721_133927854.jpg 951899[/ATTACH] IMG_20170721_133803657.jpg

@Steven91 how long did you have it and how big did it get? Did it ever nip coral?

My longnose? was about a year and half old and i dont think he ever went after my coral, might have lost a zoa head or 2 but that never bothered me. He was a very aggressive eater.

The copperband i've only had for a few weeks and is eating very well and have not gone after coral
