Polops growing on clam

Don't have a picture, but they are brown button polyp. They must have spread the rock next to the clam.
 
if you want to remove, feel free to do so with a razor blade or something similar. Just keep in mind the polyps pose no harm to the clam-personally I think it probably looks pretty sweet. I know on one of the discovery channel ocean specials, they kept showing a giant clam with a massive acro colony growing on its shell, so want to make that happen now, just need a larger sandbed
 
If you can get the clam out, you could just use a razor blade or similar like suggested. Just be careful not to cut yourself.
