when removing copper when do you know the poly pad is exhausted and needs to be replaced it says it doesn't leach out so just leave it in until copper is completely removed. Also how do you rejuvenate the pad again to reuse. Thanks ahead of time for any advice. Carl

Test for copper if the results are good, you’re good. I personally wouldn’t suggest reusing anything that removes copper. It’s simply safer to replace it. As I’m sure you know copper is far to potent to reef life to justify saving a few dollars when the material can simply be replaced.

Assuming that you are using copper in a quarantine tank, I would not reuse the Poly Filter. For me, I toss the pad once it has turned a darker shade of blue. With a large water change and the Poly Filter, your quarantine should be good.
