Polyp bailout hanmer coral

My hammer coral just had a polyp baillout after an unexpected ammonia spike. Did water changes to lower the ammonia and i woke up this morning with my hammer having a polyp baillout. It detached itself so i glued it into a frag plug and put it in low light and low flow but i just noticed I glued the polyp UPSIDE DOWN???

Will it still survive like that?
and
Will it ever grow heads or grow back a skeleton like a normal hammer coral?

Water parameters:
Calcium: 475ppm
KH 10.9 DKH
Magnesium 1300 ppm
Ammonia 0.25
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 35 ppm (ik its high im working on it with water changes)

and the initial hammer coral still has some flesh in it
Was wondering if it would grow back onto the dead skeleton too and perhaps grow heads later?

If you glue it upside down, it’s going to die
If the skeleton still has flesh there is a possibility that it can regrows
