I got this porcupinefish about a year and a half ago. I've had them in the past.

When I got him, his pectoral fin was kind of torn or jagged. I thought it was shipping damage or he got picked on at the supplier.

Well, it's a year later and it's still the same, but bigger, lol. He's fine. Healthy and hungry, just a deformed fin.

Anyone ever seen this before?

The initial damage must have been beyond the fin tissue, which resulted in deformed growth. As you stated, healthy, so no need to be concerned. I have seen fins and tails deformed when injuries were in the fleshy parts of those regions.
