Posh's 120g Ocean In a Wall

Hello R2R! *waves*

I'm new to this board (hangout on others) but I thought I would share with you our In Wall 120g Oceanic Tech mixed reef. This tank has been up and running since March of 2008, but a lot of the corals and fish were transferred over from our previous 75g.

We decided to make this tank different. We wanted to go with something more open and unique this time. I also wanted to maximize the amount of swimming room for Ocean, our PBT. We also went with a starboard BB instead of sand. I was doubtful at first, but I have grown to really like it. It is amazing to sit down and watch the fish swim through the columns like a natural reef.

Here are the specs for the tank. I think maybe ONE more coral might fit =)

Thinking about switching to Radiums. They would only be 150w.. worried that will not be strong enough. Any thoughts?

There have been a couple of radium 20k users in my local reef club and they all have had good results.

I have tried 20k bulbs but not radiums, but lt looked way to blue for my liking. I am currently using ebay 14k bulbs.

i also have a 120 and i do have radiums but they are 250's. i love the radiums and they really arent very blue. if it was me i would switch and go with 250's on your tank. the 150's are probably venturing on not enough....

Thanks! I agree, I don't like the overblue 20ks. I have heard good things about the Radiums, but it's almost all been SE.
