Hi!

I have had this Foxface (Sid Fishious) for about 4 months. He is extremely healthy, no concerns except this one spot on him.

He has always had it, since day one....doesn't get bigger or smaller, has never spread...but also does not go away.

Is it an old injury? Lymphocystis? I don't believe this is ich...

Looking close up at it...it's on top of the skin, and around it, it looks crater like (like there was a previous hole and this showed up in response to it).

If you are referring to the white spot in the middle of its body it is not Lympho or Ich.

I would go with the old injury. Possibly some type of genetic issue. Nothing that I would worry about if it hasn't changed in 4 months.

I agree. Since it hasn't changed, moved, or anything in that long it's probably that... old injury or the fish equivalent of a wart or skin growth.

Yep I wouldn't lose any sleep, it'll either go away or it'll be the "fish with frozen ich" if you want to confuse people.
