Just looking for input as to what might be wrong with my clam. It has some gray looking spots where there is no blue coloration and some of its edges seem torn and jagged. Mostly on the ends of it. It is in my frag tank with no fish, just some snails so I know it isn’t being nipped on by fish at least. I’m guessing it is under maybe 400 maybe 500 par at most. Too much light? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jeff

How long have ya had it? In the wild im.sure they get that par plus some lol. I keep mine at bottom on my tank in sand bed (roughly 200 par)

Blow gently to see if anything falls off and assure you are not seeing pyramid snails.
As others suggested, a freshwater does wonders for a clam as long as it is not distressed. Assure light not too bright, salt level is NO HIGHER than 1.025
