Hey all,

I have a yellow infused rainbow clover, and I was moving into a better spot for blue legs to get at it.

As I put I closer to the glass I noticed this polyp on it that I couldn’t see before I move it and don’t know how long it has been there, it is small though so hopfully if it is a pest maybe I caught it early.

From what I have seen online it dosnt really look like aiptasia. So idk what it could be. When I shine a light on it ( iPhone flashlight), it practically disappears and opens back up with in a few seconds of light going away. After a few times it stopped reacting to the light and just stayed open.

there is another one just next to it that you can’t see in the pic.

thanks!

Okay. Thanks for some advice. I wouldn’t even of considered it being a feather duster worm, I don’t have much knowledge of them before now.

It is very interesting that a worm could look so much like a polyp.

Would you say it came on this frag? I haven't seen others on anything else. Got frag at a swap a month ago. Would you say it came on it then and I just haven’t noticed until now?

Further development… cleaned the frag off of some hair algae an and more and more of these popped up.
They came off and are moving
