Possible pinched mantle?

Got this clam this weekend. It opens really well but we had a few light issues with my controller and in getting it in a stable position. It has attached to the rock with by sale threads.

But is this pinched mantle starting? Right hand side of the mantle.

An I just a worry wart? Water is very stable and all paras check out well.

Not happy, but doesn't look like PM to me at least. Notice anything picking on it? Sometimes you really have to watch the tank a while. Flow or light too much there? Does it open up in the morning and close up by the end of the day? What does it look like at night (with a flashlight), open mouth, closed up?
