Team, i imported this angel from Shri lanka several weeks ago. roughly 4 weeks. He was in QT for 3+ weeks, we freshwater dipped upon arrival in copper power at 2.5ppm with 100% water changes every 3 days, them Prazi and metro for internal parasites for several days. the tank is roughly 4 months old, it is FOWLR until it matures enough for SPS. this fish is the only one showing signes of this. they have not been their before this morning i dont believe. I treated the entire tank with Prazi after i moved everything over 4 weeks ago from QT. did a 80% water change. I dosed Ffluconazole yesterday for a GHA outbreak and noticed this. the fish eats like a pig and swims no flashing of any kind. they do not seem to be exterior on the fish. the skin looks smooth over the spots. this is a macro shot using iphone 14 pro max.

You do a lot of huge water changes…, wonder if that plays a factor. Do you make sure the water is at the same temp first?

The water changes that were 100% were on the QT systems. I only do 80gals a week on a 400+ gallon system. but yes the mixing station is tied into the Apex as well. Its 2 150gal norwesco tanks manifolded and then plumbed into the sump for watcher changes. i can change out 300 gallons give or take if i needed to in a pinch.

Does his eyes also have some symptoms? Appear grey-ish from the blue pix, which by the way would improve a lot if you share some white light photos.

Doesn’t look like the eye of the attached pic or does it?

A couple comments. You're adding/dosing doing a lot of things - so it's difficult to see what exactly the protocol you were following was intended to do? IMHO - this looks like Ich (as someone else said a white light picture would help). The treatment time was not adequate for Ich (again if I'm reading your post correctly). Could you do something like:
Day 1-x - Copper power at 2.5 ppm
day x-y - Prazipro

etc, etc with all of the other things you did?

Reading what I am so far and based on the picture - the fish has Ich, and should be re-treated with copper. Hope this helps

I should have been more clear, this fish was in in Copper for 14 days at 2.5ppm, Water changes done every 3 days with copper power added to the water change water at 2.5ppm. Was this not enough time? Started Prazipro and metro after the copper treatment period.

The typical copper treatment is 30 days

Understood, these are things i did not know, the QT directions that were sent from the group had copper for 14 days. maybe i was suposed to continue copper power as well as start the Prazi and metro. I did not do that.

Can you post a short video under white lights?

This does have the appearance of marine ich - I see spots on the soft portions of the fins, and ich is really the only external disease that does that.

Copper Power is very mild, but it is also slow to work. What copper test method are you using?
I would continue with the 2.5 ppm copper for the time being.
