Take those doohickeys out of there; they serve no purpose. You'll probably want some type of foam block in the bubble trap to quiet things down (the above doohickeys would work I suppose) but looks fine otherwise, nice work .

How many chambers does yours have?
I have a 75g sump/refg, I'm still not sure how big of space in should use for it. My equipment really didn't take as much room as I thought it would. I feel I have a lot of dead space.

Here's an older picture of the 10 gallon sump I have underneath my 20 gallon DT. It's looks pretty much the same today only the skimmer has been upgraded and there's a couple baseball size pieces of live rock in there as well. Works like a charm. :)

Grape caulerpa and a mangrove . That purple in there is a piece of rock rubble. The caulerpa is great and I am trimming back(losing pods:() all the time. It is risky to add though based on research. Use with caution

I have a silly chic question...
I'm wanting to do my 40gal breeder into a sump..
How did you silicone both sides of the baffles?? did you use calk gun? or the silicone squirt tubes??
How far apart should the baffles be set???

A 10 gallon sump for a non WC 75G display. 5 gallon max level after top off, that's about it. Cheapo skimmer, a DIY denitrator and a return pump in it. So far I'm happy with it, mixed reef seems to be doing fine.
