When adding fish back after a fallow period/QT, how quickly do you add them all back. I have 9 fish total.

If the tank supported them previously you can just add them. You won't have to worry about a cycle or anything.

Sweet. Yeah, everything besides my new Tang was in there prior to the QT.

I acclimate each one individually until moved over with salinity match

updated cycling science agrees you can just add them, don't forget to match salinity slowly before the move xfer

old cycling science would have said the systemic bacteria paired down during the missing fish phase, and the bioload has to be added back slowly in order to not crash the system and allow buildup time. the light green reading from the api ammonia kit would have caused sheer panic.

I match up the salinity in both tanks and then just move them over. There is some benefit in moving them all at once - it doesn't give the first fish in time to develop territories that they might defend against the later fish - even though they are getting along in the QT, moving fish can often change things up in regards to compatibility.

Do you have to take copper level back down to zero too?
No - in fact a number of public aquariums take the copper back up to a full dose a day before moving the fish out, just as a safety net to prevent anything getting through.
