What kind of water is supposed to be good to use to mix with? RODI, Tank Water, or freshly mixed salt water?

I would use the water the frags came from, eliminates any further stress.

I’ve always used tank water for dipping acros. Whether it’s Bayer, CoralRx, or now KCl.

This is the best and safest coral dip for all corals. Its very gentle on corals and kills pests within 4 minutes

we use 2 tablesoons per gallon for 10 minues

Hi is there a list of things it kills? What about nuisance algae?

Edit: When I looked at the “other ingredients”, my package says none. The one currently on Amazon has magnesium hydroxide carbonate. I’m not sure if that will be a difference or not honestly

Did this question regarding the magnesium hydroxide carbonate get resolved? Can the current formulation be used?

Not that I know of. This is far down the chemistry path for my simple brain. Maybe the magnesium hydroxide carbonate is an anti caking agent they added? Kind of makes it confusing when it’s listed as the only ingredient. I’d recommend maybe emailing the manufacturer and verifying its KCl with added magnesium hydroxide carbonate.
