Hi, I'm new here and starting my tank thread. I setup my first saltwater talk back in July of 2025. It is a 15 gallon HelloReef AIO system. I added an Eheim auto feeder, ReefBuilders ATO, and cover from Top Lids.

I started with a cleanup crew made up of hermit crabs, various snails, two peppermint shrimp, and one scarlet cleaner shrimp. A month or so later I purchased one Black Ice Snowflake Ocellaris and one normal Ocellaris from SeahorseSavvy. I also purchased a mexican turbo snail and didn't realize how large it would be. Another month later I bought a Rainbow Bubble Tip Anemone from Aqua SD. The BTA hitched a ride around on the turbo snail for a couple of weeks before settling down. Over time I've added a few zoas, an acan, GSP, and some other corals. The BTA has been thriving the entire time, growing large and splitting a few times. Currently there are four but I'm selling two of them to another hobbiest tomorrow. The BTA's ended up eating the three shrimp so no more shrimp for my tank which seems to be for the best. One of my latest additions is a tailspot blenny who has been fun to watch.

Here are some pictures of the tank over the past 6+ months. Thanks for checking it out.

Tank is looking good so far! Any future plans?
I was worried when you said the anemone split 4 times, but they look nice, bubbly, and happy to me.
I've read that Blennies can be jumpers, but you seem to be doing okay. Does that lid cover the whole tank? I've been wanting to get a Starry Blenny, but im worried it'll jump since my lid doesn't cover the whole top.

Thanks! No future plans, just maintaining for a while. I'll eventually add a dosing pump and maybe a light rack.

Yea, I was worried about the splitting at first but everything seems good. Sold two of them but the two I kept are growing and get plenty of love from the clowns.

The tailspot blenny is doing great! He pretty much goes everywhere in the tank besides in the anemones which is perfect since the clowns never leave them. The lid covers the entire display but not the rear chamber. It has an optional evaporation cover that I always keep on but could be removed. I'm looking at some 3d printed options to cover the rear chamber.

Unfortantely, found aiptasia today so I'll be dealing with that. I removed the frag plug that I noticed it on so I'll go from there and keep an eye on everything.

Latest update - Coral growth is starting to increase and things are looking good. I remove the frag that had aptasia and haven't noticed any more since but still keeping a good look out.

Picked up a few new zoa frags and another piece of GSP for the back wall from a local reefer. This new GSP frag is growing rapidly and I am really liking how the back wall growth is coming along. I'll get around to posting some more pics soon.

Glad to hear your corals are growing!
