They're gonna fight for sure. Even if they establish hierarchy they'll still fight often. Even if they mostly get along they're still gonna fight with eachother. At best they'll fight but not kill each other.

had a powder blue which i added at the same time i added an Achilles tang. i had to take the powder blue backthis past tuesday after a month. (I TRIED EVERYTHING) He was smaller than every other tang in my tank, Blu Hippo, Achilles, Vlamingji & the SOB still caused so much headache in a once peaceful tank he had to go. i have a 220 tank as well will tons of hiding spots, i even redid the aquascaping after a few weeks to change up things (did this several times) and nothing helped. so needless to say i lost out on $88 bucks. got a small credit back but now my tank is being manages for ice due to the stress. do the research on Powder blue. many videos on you tube. good information. then you can make your decision. it can be done, but i would never do it again. i usually never fail at matching fish. that was an epic fail. if you were to choose the powder blue make sure its the last fish to put in you tank. pretty hard to add after they get established im told. and i can believe it. the Powder brown is much more forgiving. Good Luck, wish you all the best hope this info Helped.

Powder blue is the most aggressive between powder brown, goldrim and achilles. As much as I love their personality and individually they will murder anything new, big or small.

My powder blue was quite the bully until my Achilles showed up and put him in its place.

I had Powder brown (A. japonicus) and Powder Blue together in my 420 gal tank. They did fine together. I added the Powder Brown later, after the Powder Blue established. Knowing that there will be problem, I trained the Powder Brown to eat nori on a clip attached to a stick. The Power Brown was driven into the rock work for about 2 weeks. I located the Powder brown and supply food directly to him when he was driven to the back. After 2 weeks he was not chased anymore and did great no problem

Power Blue Tang is a beautiful fish that need a large tank. I never have any problem with mine, disease, aggression or otherwise, and they are so beautiful.

My PB is an a hole. i have put up a 6" mirror on the outside of the tank and he totally fixates on it and ignores anything new i put in. i have to take it off after a while, because i think he would literally fight himself to death. I take it down and up over the next few days depending on how he is reacting and he usually mellows out. i think it can be done, but like most everything else the individual fish will determine success. Good luck!

Chances are that it will not work. Pick one as it will cause less headaches. Good luck.

That sounds risky. Powder blues will fight any tang in your tank (at first) and I imagine the powder brown would be the worst one

My PBT is one of my smallest tangs but is the biggest a hole ever for a day to any new fish non stop. 24 hrs of relentless beat down, and then lets up after that.
the only thing that puts it in check is my Achilles. When it senses the PBT is bullying other fish, it goes after the PBT.
