Noticed today that PB has a faint both on both side. It’s not an open wound or anything like that. He’s lethargic, hiding a bit and eating I enthusiastically. I’m thinking bacterial. If agree, I’ve got some enrofloxacin on hand.

Not my area, but if both sides of the fish have similar marking, it's probably not a medical issue, and I hope this is true. Your images are good, but only show one side of the fish, making comparisons difficult. Can you get images of the other side of the fish, please and thank you?!

Looks like damage from trying to squeeze through a PVC section possibly.

How long have you had the fish?
Is it in copper power or safe QT?
What are you feeding?
Notice any tank mate aggression?

Had 6 months or so. The tank has now evolved to a holding tank after Qt’ing several fish. They were treated with 30 day copper power, several prazi pro treatments, and even a round of kanamycin. All many months ago and no additional fish have been added. Feeding nori, mysis, mixed seafood anll soaked in Selcon and beta glucan. Aggression is minimal.

Looks like a tail strike or similar injury starting to heal up
Keep an eye on it

When you say lethargic, is it breathing faster than normal? If you aren’t sure, post a video and I can tell you.

There is a rare and little know disease called “tang fingerprint disease”. It can look like this. The cause and treatment of that isn’t known.

He’s breathng rather normal. By Lethargic I meant not as active as usual. I’m going to continue to observe for now as all the other fish look and acting normal. Thx

What 2 fish were added. This will now require re-exposing healthy fish to more copper, etc. Unless I'm going blind somehow, I would not be concerned with anything I see. They could be stress marks, etc. I would not treat with anything until it's more clear what's going on. Some medications themselves can even cause 'pale areas'. What did you use kanamycin for before. Though its considered a relatively benign drug, it can have significant side effects, and shouldn't be used unless you're sure what you're treating
