Powder blue is ATTACHING Brown Tang

Powder blue is attaching the Brown Tang, what should I do

Not terribly surprising. They are very closely related and both can be aggressive.

How big is the tank? How long have you had each one? What are their sizes? Any other tangs in there?

Acclimation box can help. Mirrors can be a distraction. Lots if room, food, and flow can help. Other tangs can help too.

thank you i got
2 purple tang 2“ and 3”
1 Gem tan 2”
yellow 2”
1 blue tang 1”
Brown tang 2”
And bully powder blue 3”

140 gallons RedSea, brown is new powder I had am for 5 months

Powder is so aggressive I see a cut on his body what should I do?

No expert but I would take out the brown tang and not put anymore tangs in that size tank.. adding tangs to an established powder blue is probably not gonna work especially another powder type tang

I should sell the powder and get a another one so they will get along

so hard to catch him

brown is being in that box will he be ok
