I have a SW-2 Jebao and it seems like it is sticking. It works for a bit then then it stops and the propeller tries to keep spinning as you can see it slowly move then it finally kicks in and then repeats. I've taking it apart cleaned it with a toothbrush, there is nothing in it or on it other than water and it still does this. Is the motor jacked or is there something that can be done to fix it. It's barely 2 years old. I've not given it a vinegar bath but will tonight after work.

If it needs to be replaced I'd also love some other ideas, I don't truly care for this one as it constantly flips and pulls the water instead of pushing it.

Sounds exactly like what my Jebao PP-4 did when it died. I suspect something in the motor is not working like it should but on mine it also felt like things inside the housing were grinding when I turned the rotor by hand.

Anyone have ideas on what I should replace it with?

it's a 10 gallon, basically my frag tank. Mainly lps and softies. I'd like to get 2 of whatever so that I can do opposite sides. Ideas?
