It's almost summertime, and here in (SW)FL that equates to almost daily thunderstorms and power surges, power outs and other terrible power factors.

How do you protect your electronics investment, and what do you do to keep the tank alive during power outages?

I have a home made battery back up which the plans were passed down from reefer to reefer in my circle. It works great all
You do is do the math of what you will draw, how long you want it to run and then you know what parts you need.

(I'll try and find the plans if you'd like)

Outside of that I have a diesel generator just incase long power outages plus I like to be comfortable even if the powers out [emoji1]
