I can't see an answer to this on the forum, apologies if it's already been covered.

I have a powerbar 6D that I'd like to connect (along with a profilux 3) to an UPS.

My understanding is that surge protected extensions into UPS systems is generally a bad idea (not a sin wave output from UPS). So two questions 1) does the 6D have inbuilt surge protection, 2) can it handle the output from a UPS?

Thanks!

I have run a P3 on an UPS between 2015 and 2019 without any problems but have never test with a powerbar. However - I think it will work

Sincerely Lasse

Thanks Lasse, good to hear people using the P3 on an UPS.
My backup if the powerbar won't work is to put my backup pump on the UPS directly and drive it using a 0-10V from the P3. When the P3 detects a power loss, set the pump to operate. Not as convenient though as just using the powerbar on the UPS.
