Powerhead for a shallow reef? Recommendations?

I’m setting up a shallow Aquaforest tank. It’s 12” high. Any recommendations for powerheads? My MP40s seems to push the sand too much.

I've heard gyres are good in shallow tanks since you can put them very close to the top.
