Need some guidance in regards to powerhead placement. I have 2 macspect xf 250s and 3 dual headed powerhead a at 3500 gph and one single head that does 3200 gph. I have a 400 gallon system and I have tried several different placements. Any advice and what setting should I have the gyres set at. Below is a picture of my tank. Thank you in advance.

You say you've tried several different placements.
What were they and what was wrong with them?
You have 6 big water moving pumps, even in a 400g tank, it shouldn't be too hard to make things work.

My biggest problem is in the intersections of the dual power heads. It will blow my sand all over the place and I did have some deadspots. I have tried all Powerheads on the back of the tank and the gyres on the sides.
Gyres centered on the sides and a Powerhead in each corner.
The gyres centered but vertical.
Each one I had sand in the center of my tank blown out

Slow the pumps down.

How new is this set up? Sugar fine sand will move around a lot for the first 2 to 4 months. but it will get better and more stable over time.

10 months, with my 180 flow was easy but now since I’m adding 2 ft in width and a 1ft in height. It has been difficult for me

2 of my 3200 gallon powerheads broke not sure how but Dutton my feedings I got zapped and both where bad. So now 2 maxspect 250s and 2 pumps that do 3200 gph and 1 pump that does 1800 gph. Should I get more powerheads?
