I'm looking to set up a new 6' FOWLR tank & was thinking of putting my 2 MP40s on the rear wall to keep things super-neat and to make cleaning the glass at each end easier. Is this likely to be a problem with flow or will it be OK in a fish only setup? Thanks

Not a problem flow wise at all. Get them setup and running and just adjust them to make sure you have optimal flow. It does give an incredibly clean look.

+1 in a FOWLR you should be good- MP40 may hit front glass and blow sand around if your have sand, but if the sand is good you should be good to go on the back. It’s a nice and clean look for sure!

post photos- oh how I love to see photos
