My husband and I brought home Brian the Bristletooth from our local LFS. We got him on the day he was delivered to the store. Evidently his supplier has fluke problems. Our previous firefish, straight from the supplier bag, had flukes, as well. I just wanted to show how prazipro works. It is amazing. Watch his left side. The best shot is at the end of the video.

This is Brian a week after Prazipro.

Good job! I think he also had a bacterial infection when you got him. Did you also treat with antibiotics or did his natural immune system handle it?

I just used the Prazipro. I thought about using antibiotics, but I decided to wait. I guess his immune system worked.

Great job with Brian! Nice to see him flourishing and healthier as he was in rough shape. Testament to the benefits of QT and Prazi! Best of luck! I hope he continues to do well for you.

Just a little update on Brian the Bristletooth. He is doing very well! Here are two videos of him. The first one is Brian after 6 weeks in QT. The second one is from today when we put him in the acclimation box in our DT. Sorry about the blue lights in the second video.

Thank you. I am praying he does well in the DT. How long would you recommend I leave him in the acclimation box? This is the first time I have used one. My firefish and clown were just drip acclimated and put straight in the tank. I drip acclimated Brian and put him in the box.

Is that all that is in the tank? If it is, I wouldn't even worry about an acclimation box since nothing should be aggressive toward him. Typically, an acclimation box is used until signs of aggression between the existing fish and the new fish fade.

Thanks for the info. I will open the doors and let him swim out.
