Preparing Dry Live Rock

Hey guys, just want to see what opinions are to prep dry rock for a new tank. All of it will be coming from BRS in a mixture of Ec-Rock, Fiji, some Tonga Shelf, and a little Tonga branch.

So far, I had planned to rinse with water/vinegar, and then rise off in regular water just to clean off dust and anything else on the rock.

Whats the best way to get this started? I don't want to see with rock from my current tank to prevent bubble algae and such getting onto the new rock.

If its dry, there is nothing living. I assume since its a new tank you're not too worried about a cycle, I would just soak it very briefly in a 50/50 water vinegar mix and then rinse it well (soak it over night) with freshwater. Then it should be good to go back in the tank. I've heard that vinegar promotes algae growth, so be sure and rinse it well after the water vinegar dip. Also keep the vinegar bath short as it will actively dissolve the rock.

Thanks guys. I was going to check BRS when I got home, but had to log in to work to fix some DNS issues :(
