Beautiful puppy! Congratulations! Yes definitely on her vet appointments keep her off the floor. Ask your vet when she will have his clearance to go on walks outside your yard. Keep your gates closed, so no strays expose your puppy by using your yard.
My brother has 2 rescue huskies. Very important--huskies are born runners. Most off the leash will take off and keep going. They need to run and play often to keep happy. So she will love running free in your yard.
Once your vet clears her, I would take her to training classes ( like PetSmart). Huskies are intelligent and learn quickly. Some can be stubborn and training will definitely help. It's a nice bonding experience and great place to get help with any training.
