Pressing ENTER doesnt drop down a line?

Am I crazy? Does this board have some weird trick to get your cursor to drop down to start a new paragraph? Ive pressed enter two or three times between every one of these sentences. Nothing. What am I doing wrong here?

Ever since I joined here I could not figure it out too. I guess you have to finish this entire space.

Desktop and laptop both do this at differnet locations... I sure don't understand it. <~ this gap should be 15 spaces. <~this Gap is 2 spaces and 10 enters. doesn't make sense!

It does drop down a line, it's just this forum. There is no cursor placeholder. You just have to kinda keep track of where you're typing.

Mine shows a cursor place holder. but it doesn't return when press enter. revhtree any idea?

Guys this is an issue within our software that is something I can't fix. That being said you will not have this problem soon enough!

Thanks for responding. At least I know its not just me or that Im not crazy. I can deal with it. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some setting.
