I have a few more updates, almost to real time. Messed around with 1 of 2 control boards and hooked up the utility sink in the garage, my drain was above the sink height so i plumbed in a Everbuilt utility sink pump, this thing is quite and does a great job moving drain water.

Alright with the plumbing and test fill out of the way my next area of focus is the #aquascape with everyone constantly shedding emphasis on flow I decided to take a new approach to this. I’m planning big water movement from 3 sides of the tank. With a 36” height it allowed me to lift the whole structure 8” off the bottom. Flow outline will be..
Left side middle dual intake for closed loop
Left side top x4 2” drains with 36” internal overflow
Back wall- bottom x4 MP40’s pushing water under the reef
Back wall top- x2 coralvue ice cap 4K gyres pushing water down to the MP40’s
Right side top- x2 3/4” & x1 1” return with VCA random flow generators- source return pump
Right side middle- x2 1.5 returns for the vectra L2 closed loop, this will be synced with the MP40’s
Here’s the first pic of the aquascape

All of the #pondfoam is covered with #Marco cement, painted, and added to the tank, lots of 1/2” holes for plugs

2 months ago I added a big bag of media to my 75g.. well today the 400 gets a new bag of silversides, squid, shrimp, and oyster. I’ll let this start breaking down for the day then move over the established bacteria.
On the topic of food, here’s a pic of my clown, she gets selcon soaked fresh clams 3 days a week, keeps her laying eggs all over the elegance :)

Added a piece of LR from another tank today, planning to do 1 rock a day and start recycling water from WC on the other tanks, that should get more nutrients in the display. Once nitrates start really registering I’ll plan a big water change and a few fish. Dr T tips on cycling are to run salinity a little lower and crank up the heat! CG to add some color to these boring pics.. the algae free magnet runs perfect on this 3/4” glass:)

Today marks 1 week of saltwater! Each day I added a small piece of LR from 7 different clean systems. 2 days ago I put in a tub of #miraclemud some live sand I’ve been cooking, and a few different bottled bacteria’s. 80 ghost shrimp went in Tuesday and today is the first day for fish.
current stock is:
Blotched #anthias
Blue throat #trigger
Tomini #tang
Aiptasia #filefish
Sheepshead #minnow
Fu man chu #lionfish- (Sump)

I am very interested in your pvc scaping. Nice find on your tank. Love the picture behind the tank.
