Currently only have one wrasse. Mystery.

Looking to add a few other wrasses and would prefer one of them to be a great preventative tank mate for flats, etc.

I’ve been eyeing a china wrasse and a rhomboid or lineatus.

90g. 48x24x22.

Just don’t want to cause unnecessary fights. Is there anything that would be a good add to the existing mystery that would do great in prevention of pests etc. and add some flair?

Cheers

I’ve always loved yellow coris and melanarus too. But looking to venture out a bit more to something I haven’t had.

Thanks

China can be hard to get healthy and eating. Melenurus can be jerks to other wrasse.
I agree with Slocke choices but I would be little hesitant adding a Timor to the others.

Some good suggestions so far, I’d vote for a China (if healthy and on the smaller side), earmuff or radiant. Earmuffs can be good looking, but the radiants are really beautiful.

Don’t expect much from a rhomboid in terms of being utilitarian, they just swim around and look pretty all day :) I’d recommend a rhomboid though, as the lineatus I’ve had (and my father’s current one) have been on the more agressive side.

Ive had a few mystery wrasses over the years. Everyone I had didnot like any new wrasses being added
