Yeah. They should have just gone out and bought a new manufacturing facility and had it built and installed overnight, inside their current facility!
Who knows other than TM, but it might not have been cost. Remember, everyone was moaning and threatening to switch salts as TM Pro was always out of stock. Maybe it was more expensive, but quicker, to get this alternative plant up and running, rather than having to wait for new infrastructure to be built in their German facility.
Or maybe it was cheaper and this was needed to calm those who were complaining that it was getting too expensive. Nobody knows other than TM and everyone throwing stones on these threads are just guessing.
