Problem Connecting to New AI Prime 16HD

I got two 16HD's and got one connected with no issues but the second one I cannot for the life of me connect with bluetooth. The AI app finds the light I select it and then it either get stuck in update or it says finishing up and then it fails. Can someone please help before I try to contact AI?

Try starting the pairing process over again, hold the button until the indicator light blinks red and then reconnect

I just installed AI's Hydra 32's this week with the AI Nero 5 pump and had issues too. I had to restart the app several time's before I was able to pair both lights on the app. Side note. If you are using an AI power head (Nero 5) you can't pair it to the same tank as your lights. You need to create a new tank (which is unfortunate.)

Just did a factory reset the tried again. It got past updating then I get a failed message.

Also the AI LED logo is blinking blue and green.

Have you tried deleting your tank from the app, turn both lights off and back on again and try to pair them both together?

Yep that did. it. They both gave me a little trouble at the update but after deleting the tank and a factory reset on both of the lights the app finally accepted them. Thanks.

Glad that helped. AI can be a little finicky to set up, but the app and hardware seem to be stable once you get past the initial setup. Hope everything continues well for you. :)

Hold/push your finger over the tank name under welcome and it should pop up with a red negative sign. I think this is how you remove it.

so i guess since this is the first time setting up this lights on this app, i don't really have any tank set even thought i tried multiple times to pair the lights (i got them used), after i reset the lights and try to pair them again this is the error i am getting
