Problem setting Parent and Child with AI Hydra 26 HDs

I bought two of these lights yesterday and came home to install them. I am having trouble setting them up as they both end up as a parent light and neither of them will set up as a child.

It also appears as if one of them is a bit more blue than the other. I have checked and all of the settings appear to be identical. Any ideas on what to do with these two issues?

And yes I have looked all over youtube and all of the videos just show them already set up as a parent and child. What am I missing?

Start with just one at first get it set up as the parent. Then plug second light on go to your setup and select devices....should show second light and option to add it.

FWIW quite a few people actual LIKE running 2 or more lights as individuals- less headache when something goes sideways. I did have some frustration setting 3 up, but after a bit of trial and error got it done.

Nope. I have an email into them for assistance. We shall see how good their customer service and experience is now.

Pretty good my first set came in and one wouldn't hook up and they replaced the light for me....
