Anybody have any problems with buying freshly imported torches?

Just got 1 recently and this is the condition it came in

The polyps are out and extended when the lights are on but is there any way to help heal the flesh?

Would an iodine dip work

Wild euphyllia typically come with bad flesh. Pretty normal I’d be surprised if it came with really good flesh lol. Depends on the importer and more importantly that specific piece.

Who did you get it from?

Don't want to name drop as this vendor has been top notch

I would give it a bath in iodine.

Yes I'm planning to give it an iodine dip once the torches are acclimated to my tank

That is what I heard also so hoping that these torches will recover

Good good yeah I don’t think it’s a seller issue. More so sometimes they have a rough time like us, not always on our best game lol
