My Gsp was fine the other day when I dropped in a long tentacle it closed up. Could it be too close to the long tentacle ? My water parameter are ok( spent 2 hours testing yesterday ) , I'm wondering if it could be the algae blossoms ? Any advice could help.... Probably gonna grab algae Benny and cuc this weekend.

Some times they just close up for no appearent reason. If all your #s seem okay I would not worry for a day or so....could just be self cleaning. You are on to someing w/ regard to the algae, as it can produce nouxsious chemicals inside the tank if there is a lot of it, and that can effect corals, though normally the more sensitive sps types.

Yeah, they close up for days in my tank for no reason and then are back to normal. As long as the tissue isn't melting you should be good.
