Progression of my reef

As the title states this is a thread of my tank from the beginning. I’ll be posting pics to get a better visual on how far it has come!

First pics are the sump, back of tank plumbing, and first fill with water. Exciting!

Sorry for the heavy blues…. I didn’t realize what I was doing hahah. Here’s the next set of photos after the cycle. I added the corals I had from my previous build that I broke down when we moved. Everyone and everything is happy!

Couple weeks later I went wild with buying corals at a local reefers house.

Moved some things around and algae started clearing up…

Took this photo yesterday, it’s coming along nicely. I need more coral on the right side of the tank though, it’s looking a little bare compared to the left side. I scooped up some coral during Top Shelf Aquatics’ Black Friday sale and it is supposed to arrive on 12/8/23. Can’t wait! Ordered a protein skimmer and set it up today too!
