Proper solenoid for CO2 scrubber control

I'm trying to find a way to bypass CO2 scrubber when pH going high. I tried to add a T before the scrubber, and add a 1/4 solenoid from Hydros to it. But the solenoid is putting on too much back pressure even when open that still plenty of air flow route through the scrubber. I tried both water solenoid and CO2 air solenoid from Hydros. Neither works well. Water solenoid has higher back pressure. I tried to put a ball value there and open/close manually and it works on regulating pH. The skimmer air line is 3/8", the T out is 1/4".

So is there solenoid out there that has really low back pressure when open?

These are the ones I use they are 100% open when open no back pressure

My dual co2 scrubber plumbed to 1 1/2 pvc pipe outside using 4 ball valves diverting air either thru co2 media from outside air or only outside air

Looks exactly what I'm looking for. I looked up US Solid, there are many different wiring option for a particular size. Is the 2 wire auto return the right choice?
