Hey everyone I’m new to this forum and was hoping someone can help me.

My husband and I started our reef tank this time last year. We have a 75g aquarium with just fish for now. We did have a couple corals here and there but unfortunately they didn’t make it, so for now we’re sticking to just fish until we can get a better handle on the hobby and know what we’re doing .

My question is in regards to the wave pumps. Right now we have 2 pumps. One placed on the upper left hand side of the tank and one on the left hand side of tank (middle of the side). The pumps are the Current USA eFlux Accessory Wave Pump in 1050 gph. Where would you recommend placing them for optimal performance and what pulsation and strength should we use?

Thank you!

Depends on rock structures and coral placement.

Myself, I have them on opposite sides of my tank with a alternating current between them.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
