Hi, how's the flow rate with the prostar, I saw that it only has a single drain pipe. Is it a 1 inch or 1.5 inch drain pipe? And is the overflow + drain noisy? Also are the pipes metric or standard measurement?

I like the solid aluminum stand with the fully supported front panel, and to get something like this in say a Red-Sea it will cost twice and Red-sea comes with a sump and plumbing arrangement that I don't like at all. At least with the prostar I will have enough budget left over for a sump of my own design with a specialised control valve

Also how do you find the build quality?

Thanks

AI Nero 3 power head (2) & Sicce Voyager Nano powerhead (for dead zone)
Livestock
Blue Hippo Tang (getting re-homed when it gets too big
Tomini Tang
A pair of clown fish
Lyretail Anthias
Purple Firefish
Canary Goby

Coral Bandit Shrimp
2 Mexican turbo snails
Urchin ( can’t remember what kind)
More than a handful of blue/red leg hermit crabs and nassarius snails
Sump Tank
29G Aqueon tank with Fiji Cube Refugium Baffle kit
Reef Octopus HOB 100 (upgrading soon)
Aquamaxx Sigma 2 reactor
Chaeto with pods pods and bio-media blocks for substrate
Orlushy DC 12000 for return pump
Update on this tank. Livestock, The canary goby and Tomini Tang did not make it. Everything points to bullying. We did add a fox face and a couple of new corals. Equipment, I added a AI Nero 5 to the main display. So now it’s 2 AI Nero 3, 1 AI Nero 5 and the dice voyager nano. To the sump I upgraded the Reef Octopus HOB-100 to An Aquamaxx DFC-120 Protein Skimmer.

I attached pictures of the flow rate of the Nero in there. It’s currently on Pulsing settings. But i have switch to random and continuous speed throughout the day and night. Yes, it only has one drain pipe which is 1 inch and the return is 3/4. The overflow and drainage are actually really quiet and you can barely hear it draining. And the pipe measurements are metric. The build quality? I have no complaints, the hinges in the doors are made of stainless steel and may need to be adjusted so that they don’t “sag” but they’re really sturdy. It has adjustable legs on the bottom to help with leveling. The low iron glass it has is really clear and I think it compliments the lighting very well. I’m very happy with this tank and only regret I have is not going bigger!

Thanks, just one other question, do the silicone seams have corner protection? Like what’s done with some of the Red Sea tanks

I apologize. I’m not too familiar with Red Sea tanks and don’t know what silicone protection are you referring to
