Hello,

I finally have some time to put together a build thread on this tank! My goal is a FOWLR build but who knows where that'll take me. I was in the middle of a 40 breeder build when my wife found a Prostar 90 that was super cheap. I picked it up for 1/3 of the price off a guy who bought it brand new and used it for only few months. Included with the tank was the entire Prostar 90 setup, some media bricks, and about 60lbs of rock that had dried out for the most part. I put 60 lbs of Fiji pink live sand, a dry rock structure I put together and started cycling previously, the best rock I pulled out of what I bought, and filled the sump with as much media as possible. Tank has been cycled and I have added a saddle puffer, niger trigger, 2 clowns, 2 chocolate chip starfish, and some random snails and hermits. My equipment consists of an Amazon reef light smartfarm I think (surprised by the quality), diy heater controller, connected to 2 heaters I had sitting around, current usa return pump variable speed (1900gph max I believe), a small hang on protien skimmer not sure the brand, 2 hydros power strips, hydros xs sensor board with a temp probe and water level sensor for my ato, and sicce xstream sdc wave maker. No it's not an extremely professional build but I couldn't be happier with it. My current upgrade project is working on building a diy acrylic ato that sits next to the stand and works with the hydros sensors. The 2 gal gravity ato just isn't enough for the evaporation with no lid. I'm following BRS instructions on acid washing and bleaching the rock so hopefully in 2 weeks I will be adding a better aquascape. Added some extra pics of my rodi system. Again it's not much I think it's an Amazon ro buddy system. It has definitely been worth what I've paid. As soon as the stages start needing refilled/replaced I will be upgrading.
