Hello,
Considering buying a Prostar Rimless Peninsula used. I’m going to use it flat against the wall. It currently has the overflow on the left side (see pic).

I noticed too many scratches for my liking on the front bottom and wanted to flip it around, so the back would be the new front with no scratches. This would put the overflow on the right side, however the cut out for the overflow is still on the left side.

Would there be any issues cutting an area on the right side now?
The tank seems to sit on the outside of the stand, as the tank bottom does not sit on the stand directly.
Any issues that I’m not thinking of?

Thanks

Try filling it with water high enough to get the scratches underwater (assuming they are on the inside of the tank). Sometimes the water filling the scratches in will make it so you can’t see them hardly. Just an idea that costs nothing but a few gallons of water before you go drilling holes in your stand.
