PSA don't buy Visio Starfire Rimless tanks

Purchased a $2.7k 120 gallon 48x24x24 starfire rimless tank with stand a little over a year ago. In that time it developed a leak and the sealant is obviously cracked/split in multiple spots. The worst is an 8 in crack between the bottom glass panel and side panel. This tank did have a warenty but Advance Aqua Tanks requires you to ship the tank back via frieght (on your own dime) and they will only patch the cracks not reseal. There are severe structural issues with this tank that a surface patch with sealant won't resolve. This was supposed to last a while - not leak after only a year. If you guys have any advice please let me know. I purchased the tank through fishtanksdirect.

Name them and fish tanks direct in a small claims lawsuit and you will get check in the mail from the manufacture. But when you file double the cost, because of your time, etc... and then the judges usually cut the suit in half...

I had much the same experience with visio. They did reseal the tank for me, but I'm still am not overtly happy with the job they did. Sloppy as can be silicone seals. I'll eventually replace it with something else. I was fortunate that advance aqua tanks is local to me, so I dropped off the tank. Sucks to hear about your experience.
