That's surprising to me. I haven't ever seen anything that would sting come out of my Lobo other than the very short feeder tentacles.

I had one do this to my bower…i thought they were both bowers and then woke up to the lobo basically eating it

Sweeper tentacles in action

Those are not Lobophyllias, they are Acanthastrea pachyseptas. Also, those things coming out of the pachyseptas are coral guts, not sweeper tentacles.
Lobos are well known for having sweepers
Most Lopophyllias with sweeper tentacles are actually pachyseptas.
