So at the the start of the new year I started noticing large white growths on both of my clowns after a hyposalinity treatment. Never saw any on puffer until now. Here’s a video. Will try to get a better one.

What does this look like to everyone ? I personally don’t think it’s ick, as I’ve seen it come and go on both clownfish with no ill effects. Even saw a spot on the purple tang at one point. Is this some sort of other bacterial infection or are they potentially just fighting off ick repeatedly? I just don’t wanna go through a whole other QT treatment for no reason. Opinions appreciated

Could just be mucus. What were the parameters of your hypo treatment? Time in days plus specific gravity reached.
Did all fish go through hypo?

It was 1.008-1.009 consistently, leaning on the lower side to be honest. 30 full days of hypo 35 including ramp up and down. Both clowns and puffer went through hypo. Tang went through copper.

That makes it more likely that this is mucus. The only way to be a 100% certain though would be to do a microscopic skin scrape.
