Hey guys. So I have a Valentini puffer in my biocube 32 and he has been a middle citizen since I got him. But I have noticed some of my zoas are starting to dissapear and I caught him nibbling at the frag plug of one of my colonies. This change of behavior has brought up three questions.
1) is there any way to deter or stop him from eating my zoas?
2) Could one of my emerald crabs/ urchin be the culprit not him?
3) If 1 is no, is there anything else I can do to keep him or is it a rehoming situation?

Thanks for any help!

Start a 2nd tank for your nice corals.
My blue spot drove me to this. We are still finding corals he won't bother.
Latest, Gonipora
He won't bother euphyllia, mushrooms, most softies.

Money is tight so i dont know if that is an option. Have you tried feeding more to cull the eating?

Doesn't work, ime.
They have a beak that constantly needs to be worn down, like beavers teeth. Some of the nibbling, like sps, is just this.
